Our tipOur holiday apartment is in Warsingsfehn, part of Moormerland in the middle of East Frisia. From here you can quickly reach the towns of the region, head out by bike or make your way to the sea.
Two free parking spaces are available right at the house. Simply enter the address above into your sat nav.
Typical of Warsingsfehn are the long fen canals with roads on both sides – lovely for a walk right from the front door in every season.

You don't have to go far for your daily shopping: the centre of Warsingsfehn around Rudolf-Eucken-Straße is only about a kilometre away. There you'll find supermarkets, bakeries and a pharmacy close together – a few minutes by bike or about a quarter of an hour on foot.
Straight-line distances. The supermarkets in Warsingsfehn are closed on Sundays – if you've forgotten something, try Nah & Gut Bruns in Timmel. Bread rolls are available at Musswessels, sweet treats at Back-Paradies and small items in the Aral petrol station shop.
Don't feel like cooking? We can recommend these places in Warsingsfehn from our own experience – all just a few minutes away.
Straight-line distances. Many restaurants and takeaways are closed on Mondays and some also on Saturdays – best check the current opening hours beforehand.

East Frisia is flat, green and full of water – perfect for cycling, paddling and swimming. There are over 500 km of signposted cycle paths in the area, and the German Fen Route (Deutsche Fehnroute) is a circular route through the typical fen villages with their canals and bascule bridges. Especially nice: at the paddle-and-pedal stations you can hire a canoe, paddle part of the route and cycle back.

Straight-line distances. Please check opening hours and seasons of the swimming and paddling facilities beforehand.
